Church Flooring Project News

In the first two weeks, asbestos was removed from the choir loft, the vestibule and half of the main floor of the Church closest to the main entrance doors. Work will continue in the Sacristies, hallway behind the Altar and front half of the main floor of the Church, beginning on the 20th. We are celebrating Mass in the Parish Hall while renovations are taking place. Please keep the workers and the project in your prayers!

At the end of the third week, we have these photos of the vestibule, choir loft, sacristy and main floor of the Church with the asbestos tiles removed and down to the original concrete floor. With the start of the fourth week, January 26th, the original concrete flooring will be prepared for new tiles and carpeting. All the cracks will be filled in, and the bumps will be leveled. Everything is being done to ensure that the new flooring material will remain intact for a long time.
